But is it just me who thinks that if goons keep attacking players in highsec its going to force CCP to change the mechanics to aid the carebear..., i mean...., privateers anyone?... same thing happened... large scale high sec greifing, then bam.. ccp changes the rules... Personally i would like to keep the ability to gank players in highsec (corp theifs, smacktards, macro miners), but randomly attacking tonnes of players will just make it harder for those who use high-sec ganking as a method of revenge etc.... I dunno, anyone agree?

To the OP: I too, wolud like to be able to kill a guy in high-sec if I see a reason for it, corp-theft, can-flipping etc. But it remains to be seen if CCP will do something about this. Honestly, I think they won't. All people have to do to avoid being griefed my goons is to adapt and be smarter. The Privateer issue was far more severe, with far bigger effects, thus it needed to be dealth with. And it was, I think, for the better. It would then make it much less profitable for the gankers, and they would have to choose high value targets instead of indiscriminatly killing haulers/exhumers etc. As far as low sec goes, other than gate camps, concord doesn't get involved.

I think an easy answer would be for idiots to stop going AFK in expensive ships then whining when they lose them. CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that.

Instead of loosing just a few hundred thousand of cheap mods and getting the 100 million isk insurance plus a couple million in potential loot, you would loose that 100 million too. So you would need your target to be worth it. Besides, it is a fair compromise to the situation. It does not ban it, but makes it so some thought needs to go into the gank. No buffs or nerfs are needed.
