Anyone have an opinion on this matter, looking for another ship to train. Currently fly gank neutron (t2) megathron. I like damage, so looking for a new ship/race to train up, any suggestions? Guessing maybe an amarr bs being the other highest dps ship type?

I'd say, a stealth bomber with a dropped bomb and a volley of cruises. Will do INSANE dps ... thing is the dps will last 1 sec

Try a fully specialized Maelstrom with 3 damage mods of each type in lows.
Do I mean that?
Saw someone recently with a dual weapon type matar BS with dual weapon mods...
No tank to speak off but sicko damage.

I'd guess a gank armageddon would rank pretty high, seeing as some guy had composed (with his own skills) a plated setup that put out appr. 1300 dps

Don't you mean typhoon? phoon with Garde II's, 4 siege II's and 4 800mm II's with faction ammo and 3 faction BCU, 3 faction gyro's in lows 2 sentry drone damage rigs (200 calibration, can't fit a third) should get you around 1500 dps at point blank range.

It was Mega Pulse II's. The whole setup was t2 and/or best named for fitting probs, so it wasn't any wishful-thinking setup that included faction/officer.

I would guess Kronos for practical purposes, and state mega for fantasy setup (8 cormack magstabs etc).
Still, a blasterdomi with good skill does pretty neat damage. I get 1400 DPS with a pure t2 gank setup, and using garde t2 sentries. Its probably the most DPS/isk atleast.
