Ok so i've only been playing for about a month and a half and i am approximately at 1,590,000sp. When i first started, i did not research anything like most newcomers. My base stats are completely twisted compared to the suggestions you guys have so far made in the forums. After researching a lot more i've come to find my character extremely unattractive. I was wondering if remaking a character would be dumb or not using suggestion base stat combinations, etc. I made a temporarily made a trial account to compare evemon plans. and according to evemon it would take maybe a few days less to get into a battleship and actually it'll be quicker to get into (this is a long ways away) command ship it would actually be quicker using a new character.
so please help me. Flame me if you must

If you're really unhappy then you're still at a point where you're not loosing much by rerolling. Unless you're creating an alt for a specific purpose, I always recommend trying to keep your starting stats as balanced as possible (considering how many times i've changed careers when I get one of my Bright IdeasÖ I'm glad I did)
Better to realize you made a mistake early on and fix it then after you've been here for many moons and you're hosed.

thanks for the reply. yea im thinking bout honestly going with amarr khanid for a nice perc/will boost. also perc/will is the more needed stats for pvp right?

High per/wil is nice and all.. only good if you wish to train skill that use per/wil a lot. IE : ships/gun/missiles. beyond that the rest of your skills will suffer.
most people go for a more balanced attributes IE : all as close as possible to each other. or low as CHR and the rest slightly higher.

YES! people will hype int/memory but once you get your 2 mil or so in each support group section you are then going to have 2-5 mil in each per/wp section.
right now i have 12.4 million in spaceship command, gunnery, and missiles, thats out of 20.1mil sp. guess where i plan on putting future training
if you guessed spaceship command and gunnery you are correct! (okay well i plan on putting a bit more in drones and mechanic and navigation, but far more in gunnery/spaceship command, think dread 5, gallente cruiser/bs 5, battlecruiser 5, medium/large hybrid 5, the blaster/rail spec skills, capital energy turret 5, command ship 4/5)

I was in the same boat you are in, except i didn't notice till i was about 5 mil SP. I actually added points to my charisma to 'even things out' thinking that was best 
At this point i'm not gonna reroll, just training up very nice leadership and social skills before i go t2 heavies. I figure at this point I can best become a nighthawk/vulture pilot boosting his fleet then a died-in-the-wool missile spammer of drone god. Talking to older players, you end up learning so many different skils, and the diverse nature of some characters is what maes it fun to play. Being able to do a hacking or salavaging mission istead of a normal level 4 in you vanilla cnr, etc.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I did end up rerolling a character, and i think im happy I did it. according to evemon i can surpass my character easily in less time than it took to make my first character.

hmmm purely upto you aye...
I my self restarted eve after 2 years almost to the date... funny thing is..
1st chr as almost 28m sp at 2yo, this one is 1y 9m old and is well over 31m sp.
