Hello everyone,
I'm having a bit of difficulty with getting any character data in XML format to import into programs like QuickFit and such.
I've tried using EvEMon's export function (long and short format) but Quickfit doesn't seem to want to accept the import.
I also tried to dl the XML data from here on the EvE-O forums (on my char page) but that just doesn't seem to work either.
Could someone give me a bit of help or point me in the right direction?

don't bother with the xml - just use the api function

Quickfit doesn't have API support, and I'm having the same troubles with XML.

Heya,
Thanks for the replies.
Ya, so far, I'm having to manually type in all my skills. Not really such a big deal, but still a pain in the arse.
Doing some searching through the forums and a few other sites to see what I can come up with.
There has to be a way to do it. If there isn't a way, there should be.

I had that to, but when you use evemon, go to File --> save character info --> save as type: XML LONG format.
You can import that in quickfit.

QuickFit uses the old data format that is no longer available on the Eve website. Unless you have a pre-trinity data export laying about, you're probably out of luck on the XML.

Hmmm... I've tried that a few times to no avail. However I just tried it again and it seems to work. I'm certain I attempted both short and long format previously. But then again, I've been having some weird issues with EvEmon lately, so maybe it's all related.
At any rate, the import appears to work. However, my stats are completely wrong. It says my int is only 9 and it's actually currently sitting at 20+.
I know it says 'base stats' next to the stats row, but I'm pretty sure my base INT was higher than 9.
