Hi all,
i am looking to move to iceland as it seems like a beutiful country. I have looked all around the internet for jobs / recruitment agencies but cant find anything.
If anyone could point me at a few recruitment agencies I would be very grateful. Specifically looking in the IT development area.

the only reason people live in iceland is because santa(father christmas) comes there first with presents .

Whether it's true or not ... I can't say ... but the other thing that Iceland is known for is the beauty of it's women.
Iceland - you see - was founded by Vikings (read Pirates ...) and the Vikings got their women by stealing them from other people. Naturally ... they didn't steal the ugly ones ...
That's the way the story goes anyway.

I've been thinking about moving somewhere north, only problem is that I would have to speak a different language other than my native which would probably bother me a lot. Wait. The topic is not about me. Ouch. Well, yeah, looks a nice enough place.

The women may be one of the factors in this move 
and iceland has about the same population as Reading, which is where i live. plus would be nice to see the northen lights when i get stressed.
Plus how cool would it be to earn isk in ya day job.

Not chesty enough but meh...who am I to complain? Beautiful is beautiful and from what little I have seen of them Icelandic women are very cute.
At least Iceland has the oldest animals in the world. Or had them anyway till some Brits killed them before figuring that out.  (Linkage)

apply for jobs before you move.if you get an interview/trial contract you can rent somewhere for a bit and then look at moving.
although CCP aside i wouldn't consider iceland the heart of software innovation.

Do I get the impression that a Reading meet is a possibilty. 20 or so replies and 3 locals isn't a bad ratio to be honest... although nights out in Reading... hmmm.
I went to the comedy club (Jongluers?) in Reading once, saw 4 acts and they all told one identical joke. If you don't pull tonight don't worry, you can always go and get stabbed instead.
I used to live round the corner from Cemetry Junction by the way, aptly named it is. I heard gun shots more than once, I missed the drive by Uzi-ing though. 
And can I make a massive shout out to Mr. Cod! Not once did they ever have any form of fish on the menu when I made drunken visits.

Thats what i was planning on doing, getting a job first and then just renting a room or something out there for a few months. But the finding a job bit is proving difficult. got a few companies that im going to forward my CV onto.
And if anyone went to the Matrix in reading when it was open, chances are you would have seen me :)

Yep that was the place. he wasnt un noticed, but when there was a full blown riot going on nothing much could have been done. They didnt know he was shot till the place was evacuated.
