REALITY X	Posted - 2008.03.06 23:55:00 - [1] Lately, I have had two unscrupulous players besmirching my name and slandering my reputation (I will not name names). Normally, I would ignore this kind of childish behaviour, but they have continued and increased their harrassment, and CCP will do nothing to stop it. I created this thread so anyone who has done business with me in the past can vouch for my being an honest seller (and a nice guy). Of course, I'm sure there will be those who will post their lies and claims of scams with no proof or evidence, but hopefully my integrity will be upheld by the names of my many fellow EVE friends and sellers. If you vouch you're basically saying "I put my reputation on the line that this person will not scam you". If you do not mean this then say what you truly mean, don't use words lightly.

Who is stupid enough to scam for less than a billion at least? You basically summed up an argument that can be used for anyone that is even remotely known by anyone. If you're saying he won't scam unless it is a few billion that is not very high praise. Even if you were to say "He won't scam for less than 10b" that's not very impressive. I consider "he wouldn't even scam for 500 billion" to be a real endorsement.

In the time I have known of and about Reality X, I have seen him make multi billion isk and higher transactions on a normal, day-to-day basis. Nothing of what I have seen in his business practices would indicate that he would be a scammer. The nature of his business and customers indicates to me that he is an above-board seller and wouldn't scam anyone. He is a business man. That means that if he finds a good deal, he will take it. I wouldn't qualify that as a scam, however, unless he was intentionally misleading about the goods that he is selling. And everything I've seen in the way he conducts business, indicates that he wouldn't be. Now, if you want a quantified endorsement, I would tell you that 500 billion would be a laughably small sum of money for this guy. You'd have to go considerably higher than that. Or course, if you are looking at "Secure exchanges" - then perhaps brokering through Chribba would be more acceptable for you? In either case, I don't really see how you could really "Quantify" an endorsement. Either you are, or you aren't, and as far as I can tell, X wouldn't scam. If you want to come talk to me about it, pop into the ships or mods channel and ask me, or send me a mail. I'm a regular seller in ships and I know what its like when one person tries to make you out as a scam artist. I've recently had the same from a fella called LRN who claims I do want a gift contracts (which I've never done, all I actually do is free faction frigate quizzes now and again in the ships channel). So I know how it can affect things for you as a trader. Reality is about as trustworthy as it gets in eve. Thanks [Kaeri]

Anyone that doubts his honesty or accuses him of being a scammer obviously dont know the guy. Qwaar ps Has already been said but i know yhe would never put his rep on the line for any kinda personal gain. Damn he has plenty of isk as it is he has no reason to scam.
