I think that red "thing" is a small piece of Ares, stuck in a roid.

Any chance getting details on say what resolution you run when you took the screen shot so I can extrapolate a few line lengths based on the aliasing effect that is visible in the image and so I know how much the jpg compression may have distorted the image? :)

my screen is 1280x800 but i use the right mouse zoom often to take screenshots, best orientation for zoom level is to take the textures into account.

We are looking for the accurate name of the red-brownish-thingy seen in the upper right corner of this screenshot (surrounded by the grey-black-whatever).
on the other side a 0.5 basic try could bring you into the list of the winners if none gets it right
