Greetings,
I just got into the first Crucible Ishkur - very nice... but what the heck is up with the gun mountings?....!?!?!?
They are point all over the place... now not one to complain, the new CreoDron skin is very nice, and the model is iconic... but, couldn't we put a little art time into alignment of the guns on this little ship so they at least look decent to the eye? and are aligned to the axis of the ships front and back? I have no issue with the one pointing to the rear (providing it's not in some off direction as it is atm)... how about we get them aligned on the Ishkur/Enyo/Incursus?
And while we are at it the other AFs have some similar issues - the turret embedded in the Vengence dorsal fin (if you fit it with turrets), and the oddness of he Harpy's new setup with very strange wing placements, etc... it seems the only ship that really got some turret time was the Winmatar AFs and they got some really nice love in the way of extra turrets (for show and angles) and such... are we playing favorites again CCP? or can we iron out some of the other three factions?

I know, but I am also a detail oriented person, sorry - but... QA and all demands a decerning eye... and well they look funny... it wouldn't be much work to fix, just change the orientation of the mount on the model, it has a built in extender in it anyway to meld it to the hulls - you an see this on some other ships, so it would be a small co-ordinates change I believe on an axis for the model and done - surprised they didn't catch this and do it in the art dept....
Make my ships look cool, it must be properly facing.. otherwise it looks silly... very very silly... too silly to fly it, bad enough it is looking for a jousting match all the time... hehe... kidding, I like the inflight refueling boom.

If that's your only problem :-)
Anyway I noticed that my modal neutrons lean to oneside of their hinge i.e. there is a gap on one side to the mount while there is none on the other side. but I play on linux so that might just be something lost in translation. |
