It would be nice with an update on how the RDIR liquidation is going. It's been over 4 months since inception, and I for one am a bit curious as to how long this liquidation will take.

RDIR made a dividend payment to the tune of 116% of capital invested about 3 weeks ago I believe. It might have only been 100% but my calculations showed up more and from memory it came to either 106% or 116%. The rest was pending based on the sale of final goods.

I'm sorry if I was a bit unclear. I'm well aware of the divident payment that occured. It's the liquidation of the remaining assets you mention that I was referring to.

Last I knew the consensus seemed to have been to let Benvie liquidate the rest. What timeframe or procedures if any that were agreed upon I can't remember.

It was 100% - I just checked my journal.
If you got more, maybe I should be talking to Shar.

As someone with Director status I can confirm sales continue on a daily basis under that title in my corp's wallet (I'm with Shar but newly back to Eve) He has been ill. I ask for patience please.

Any news from Benvie? He's the one who's supposed to be handling whatever stock is left over....

Yeah, I'm still pretty interested in knowing how things are going.
I understand things have become drawn out for valid RL reasons, but if indeed Benvie is on top of things it would be nice to get some sort of feedback. I mean, this project was made to capitalize specifically on patch changes and as far as we know it might still be far from closing (no recent information) even now one patch later.

While I have no "offical" knowledge, I will say that I havent seen Benvie online in weeks, maybe I am just missing is online times, maybe he is on an alt unknown to me, who knows.
My gut says though that atm no one is minding the store, though. --

As Treelox says I haven't seen Benvie for a couple of weeks either, however he did make a dividend payment on Benvie corp on 15th (3-4 days ago)

I've been back home for a couple of weeks now however I've only been in game once, to date, so an accurate report is not possible by me at this particular moment in time. Originally by: Ayami Sakura I understand things have become drawn out for valid RL reasons, but if indeed Benvie is on top of things it would be nice to get some sort of feedback. The liquidation delays are purely and totally my fault. I could go into the causes and reasons but it would come off, in my own mind, as making excuses for failing at a task I shouldered. Instead I'll be blunt, I screwed up and investors are going to get less return then they could have possibly earned if had not screwed up. Benvie has taken charge of significant portion of the remaining assets only a couple of weeks ago. It was not the complete inventory nor did I transfer over an isk amounts. I had some of the stock up for sale as corporate sale orders. I've always segregated various activities via the corp wallet divisions. (Another corp wallet is used for Ebank Teller activities - which I've not done in a while either.) At some point I'll find the wherewithal to do up a full out report. In fact.... Here let me link you to an older report that went out a few months back. (Linkage)So, any angst for the current fiasco that RDIR has become is mine. I might not want it directed at me but I earned it. Imnsho redirecting it, in any regard, at Benvie is a disservice. Might I also add that I'm grateful to Benvie at this moment because quite honestly the most accurate response to any request for information is for Benvie to say "Shar screwed up, leave me alone while I fix it." PS: I'll come back to answer any further questions that might be mine to handle but don't expect me to hover over this thread either.
To Shar -verb: 1 - To say what you mean. 2 - To say what it means. 3 - To say something mean.

On the whole, I'm just glad to get a response. That the actual success of the venture has become less than it could have been isn't as important to me as getting an update that anything at all is happening.
I was not trying to blame Benvie for anything or indeed put blame on anyone. I was merely under the impression that he had been put in charge of liquidating the remaining assets (not quite true now that I've received information from yourself) and requested an update of how things were proceeding. It has been awfully quiet about this venture for some time now, which is why I was anxious to get updated on the situation.
I did not know that Benvie hasn't been playing much lately, and of course this is bound to exacerbate the problems with the liquidation process. A moot point I guess if indeed he did not take charge of the liquidation after the corporate vote.

More than five and a half months later.... So what's up? My stake in this is as an investor almost non-existant, but it's getting to the point where it is beyond ridiculous how long this is taking.
This IPO was named RDIR (Revelations direct prospectus), with a plan to capitalize on the Revelations patch. Now, one patch later, we still only get to hear that "sales occur on a daily basis" from someone I didn't even know was involved in the project. Is there any reason at all why things have dragged on for so long? I guess I'm just confused as to how it can take this long to "liquidate assets". Anyone with insight care to enlighten me?

If I had more information I'd be happy to share. I've never met Shar's partner but I can tell you that the RDIR wallet is much fatter from last weeks Nano rush, thanks to all the speculators and profiteers :)
Shar continues to be away from Eve most the time. I'm sure most of you can understand the strain Chemo puts on a body.
I will ask him for an official statement next we chat.

Looking at the log this morning, I should say thank you to the page and a half of pulse shield emitter sales.

Thanks for the comments Arthe, although I would prefer something more substantial and preferably a clear answer to Ayami's reasonable questions. I too am a 'very minor' investor but having checked the dividend history I calculated that 100% of the original investment was returned and not 116% as was stated by Ricdic earlier. At the moment this would seem to have been nothing more than an interest free loan made to the people concerned and so, imo, comments about how good the wallet is looking, without any details as to when, if at all, this will be divided amongst shareholders, are little more than gloating.
I appreciate that Shar has been unwell and accept his comments made in this thread unreservedly and this is the reason I have refrained from commenting on this situation before. Nevertheless the situation remains unresolved and the longer it stays this way the less confidence I have in investment opportunities of any decription. This is not my only investment but it disturbs me that there appears to be a dismissive attitude towards investors once an IPO has been filled.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I have no idea who invested for how much and am in no way able to distribute what can not be proven. I can only reassure that items continue to sell and that funds can be distributed, but with out an accurate account list from Shar I am as much in the dark as the rest of you.
Fact - Items continue to sell This means the liquidation is not yet complete.
I'm sorry this is the only information I can honestly give anyone concerned. No one is running away with the isk. Its still safe and sound. I am glad to hear the original has been returned, however I too am looking forward to the completion of the closing for this IPO.
