Hi,
Anyone got experience with swapping towers? I have a large tower, but i need to swap it with a medium one... do you need to unanchor everything?

If you're in a hurry, money is no object, and you have lots of friends & firepower available:
1. Remove all fuel & stront from the tower and let it go offline.
2. Destroy the tower.
3. Have your friends scoop all the other structures, which become unanchored once the the tower is popped.
I'm not sure whether you can unanchor a tower while there are still structures anchored at it, and I'm not sure what happens if you do, but the method above will definitely work.

You can not unanchor a tower if there are still any anchored arrays. That would indeed be the fastest way; a Dread fleet should be able to melt the tower in 30 minutes as opposed to 2 hours + the time required to unanchor the arrays.

You have to unanchor everything including guns before you can unanchor the tower. Alternatively you can blow up the tower and then everything automatically unanchors.

Actually when you blow up the tower all structures still stay anchored, but it only takes 1 minute to unanchor them and you don't have to do them one by one.
