This is a call for open beta testing of EVETycoon.
EVETycoon is a trading and market management tool which has currently been in closed beta for several months. Enough bugs have been worked out that I'm expanding to an open beta. If this open beta becomes 'large' I will limit the number of people allowed in.
Brief list of features of EVETyccon
One of the closed beta testers called EVETycoon the 'swiss army knife' of EVE trading. EVETyccon is primarily for traders who buy and reprocess items as well as resellers of items with intrinsic value. However, it's power lies in it's ability to 'virtually' reprocess any item in the EVE Universe and calculate current, accurate pricing information of the base materials the item is made from. Therefore, even if you're a mission runner, you can quickly find out what those modules are really worth before you sell them. Unlike most utilities which rely on base price or the generosity of others to upload pricing info to a website, EVETycoon uses Marketlog exports to give personal, accurate and to the minute pricing information on minerals and items.
-Multi-region support -Works with items manufactured from minerals, rigs and moon materials -Overview - Allows you to quickly see regional price highs, lows, averages and trading volumes for all base materials including salvage items. -Reprocessor - "virtual" reprocessing of any quantity of items found in the EVE Universe provides you with base materials, material volumes and pricing information based on your reprocessing skills. -My/Corporation Orders - Analyze both My and Corporation Orders. Profit margins, total sales, and net worth are just a few of the features. -Market Analyzer - Export an item from the market and instantly see the profit potential. If you're even a noob trader or never traded before, this feature will make you isk. -My/Corporation Transaction Analyzer - Using the optional API connection, see where your isk is going to and coming from. Sort by stations to see where your best markets are or, sort by buyer/seller and see who your best customers are. -Mineral Calculator - Quickly add base materials and get accurate, current pricing for your stored minerals. -Export file manager - With EVETycoon, you'll be exporting hundreds of market records from the client. With the built in file management tool, your export directory only keeps the most current exports.
Join in-game channel EVETycoon and read the MOTD for download information.
Thanks and enjoy.

Testing is a bit convoluted (join the chatroom, read motd, join mailing list, look for the mail with the link) but afterwards no problem.
Few ideas/bugs/tips: * If you do not configure your API, the corp accounting is empty (which is cool) but character accounting throws exceptions (list out of bounds, twice). Make as corp accounting and just show the "No Data Available". * You forgot to divide the mineral value by invTypes.portionSize in Reprocessor screen (though Market Analyzer works correctly) * Market Analyzer is disregarding taxes. * Add the Potential Resale Profit as a column to the same screen. And the same field as a % of Low Retail Seller. * Ability to resize columns everywhere * Customer Information in Character Accounting is nice, but could you make it so I can double click a name and see what exactly did that customer buy/sell from me? (For example by jumping back to Transaction Data tab, and filtering to show only this users rows) * Same for Station Information. * My Orders screen. Base the profit on the Low Seller Price as thats a more conservative estimate. And dont forget the taxes! -- Selling apples, 1 signature each. ѼѼѼѼѼѼѼ |

Thanks, But I have the mailing list set up, to avoid a forum thread with bug reports and suggestions.

I'd like to reserve a spot in the Beta if there is room. Will test it on Vista 64bit (yeah, I know, laugh at my poor choices)
Nex Altrad -And where is the profit in that? |

How does this program locate current mineral market information on a multi regional basis? I was not aware that you could export that data without logging onto the region first.
