Vista sidebar gadget
Is anyone usingthis or know of its reliability.
I am a bit suspicious of third party programms.

I guess it would need log on details so it can track the skill time remaning and the isk in my wallet.
It is this information I am hesitant to divulge.
Does anyone here use it and have any feedback?

I think meta-data like that doesn't need logon details, just character name and the special unique "key" CCP generate for you. You shouldn't need to give your character password.

Would use the same API details EVEMon uses so its got access to the same information EVEMon does which includes wallet balance

I have installed it and input the API information and it works a charm.

I've been using it for about 6 months and have had no problems with it. I think its pretty safe to use as i downloaded mine from the microsoft gadget page. The author has even done a couple updates on it.
The gadget has a link on it when you're setting it up that takes you to the api page on eve o, then its just cut and paste. The only downside to it is afaik you need one gadget per character.

I¦m using this. It`s a lovely little gadget. It also lets you know when a skill is finished by voice wich is really helpful.

I'm using it too. It's really nice. And I stuck a clock with the EVE time above it
