I loved how hard that guardian dropped at the start. Without smart bombs match would of ended much quicker...

Fantastic job by Hun. Not only was the set-up awesome, the piloting was terrific as well. Our team had captured momentum and it looked like we would pull it off, but Hun showed great skill and calm in regrouping and co-ordinating that overwhelming alpha - awesome.
A fantastic, fantastic match. And a good showing by eXceed by the way, in our first tournament. Watch out for the eXceed boys next year! (How cool was our advert?!)

But tbfh Divine Order's setup is nothing but an epic failure.
The curse will neut griffins/blackbird in no-time, so they don't have any cap left for jamming.
Basicly, for Divine Order to win that fight, they would have to successfully jam the Curse, the Rook and one of the Guardians from the go, AND keep them jammed for a minute.
Mission impossible.
Hence they're out.
Am I forced to have any regret?

No you were not hearing things, he did. More than once. Guess that's internet default. always refer to any player as male, despite knowing Angel is definately female.

Well done Hun. Grats on a hard fought win. 
Obviously not the result I wanted, but Exceed made a very good showing in our 1st tourney. And losing to the defending champs in a match like this is nothing to be ashamed of.

just a thought with arty rupures given the correct starting ranges 10 ruptures could potentially insta pop the vast majortiy of a team of stealth bombers
would be nice to see

Should have orbited the tempests and used t2 drones to kill frigs.
get on BS quick, forget light ECM drones, they are worthless.

Tempests can field f T2 mediums + 5 T2 lights as backup (use a pest as my ratting ship :) ) relying on drone damage wouldn't have worked I don't think

yeah but you wanted them orbiting the tempest (presumably so the tempest couldn't track them), the tempest would have been popping the ruptures with their own drones so it fails anyway. You would have maybe killed some frigs you're still going down to the tempests anyway...
You can fit what 4 meds on a Rupture, maybe 40 meds would pwn 1 tempest but at the same time you would have lost 3 or 4 ruptures in the process. You orbit one tempest if the others were smart they'd mwd away from the one thats being orbitted and then pop you once they gain some range
