I am not asking what to replace the alliance tourney but would like to see another tourney in the summer. I think a 1v1 tourney that has three differenct classes. A battleship, cruiser, and frigate class brackets and run them at the same time so a BS match would run then a cruiser then a frigate match and so on. Would be interesting to see what ships do the best in each class and what ships people prefer.
T1 rigs should be allowed and hardwires but not pirate implants just so that there is not where the person with the most money has a huge advantage.
So what would everyone else like to see?

I like to see the turny format change to double elimination and more teams allowed. Think the bad teams will get knocked out earlier and make for more exciting matches also.

Personally, I'd like to see a tourney with exactly the same format as now, with an anything goes approach to how you fit your ship. Something totally out of this world - officer, deadspace modules, t2 rigs, boosters, pirate implants, faction ships costing the same as their t1 counterparts, t2 ships costing the same as the t1 ships.
I wanna see expensive **** blown up one match after the other. I want to see tournmanet setups that totally ruin alliance economy.
If only to see how something like this would turn out. I think it'd be immensly entertaining

Some way of enforcing use of scramblers (maybe giving option of warp out/warp back?)

mabye a closed system where all the contenders start in diffrent SS and they then have to kill eachother off in the system, roaming belts, probing the enemy out, last man alive wins the "match" no cloak allowed ofc.
one problem with this is ofc how to transmit it to the viewers and prevent ppl just camping until most are dead.
