Hiya,
I am looking for a POS tool that as well as can work out fitting requirements but also calculate the shield resists etc of the POS when adding the respective modules.
Is there such a tool, or maybe does anyone know the formula for working out prospective shield resists without having to sit on the test server for a weekend and fiddleing around with onlineing and offlining...

As far as I know, it works the same as armor or shield hardeners (ie. diminishing returns).
Say you take EM as an example, the default is 0%.
Add one hardener, it adds 25% to your resist, so you will end up with 25% resist.
Add the second, it adds another 25% on top of the other 25%, so you will get 25% + ((100% - 25%)/4) = 43.75%
The third will bump you up to 57%, I think there is some sort of stacking penalty after the second hardener.
Anyone else know different? I may be wrong after all

How are you calculating the third one?
43.75 + (100 - 25) / 4) = 62.5 ?
