Long ago CA was looked as a pirate alliance. Long ago my corp used to live in Curse and where chased out (October). CA came down on us and fellow corps with the intent of destroying all of us. No warning was given. This was long ago. We then took up arms to avenge our fallen corpmates. We have fought CA/C4 using frigs/cruisers and sometimes battleships. Over time we have come to realize the CA/C4 fight with honor as any citizen would fight to defend their country. The Current CA is not the CA of long ago.
We have decided to announce our departure from the Stain alliance. I'm sure many will look at us as traitors and cowards. It has become hard to fight an alliance that we now realize is not the alliance we started to fight, but a legitimate alliance with many respectable pilots who fight with honor( NOT PIRATES). As of early this week Stronghold has pulled its pilots out of the Greatwildlands. If many of you had not seen us in Stain its becuase we have been fighting behind enemy lines for a very long time. We feel in our hearts this to be the right choice. Thank you, Skyknight

Cheers to you Stronghold. I believe SA's destruction was at the hands of the "Everlasting Vendetta". Many in EVE looked upon the backstabbing of Omega as a real truth behind the motive. Honor is in the heart.

I salute you guys for fighting my alt who was in an apoc with 6-7 ruptures. Although I took a few out, you eventually overwhelmed me. It was one of the more fun things I have done in Eve.

Nice of you to to grasp the fact that this anti-CA thing is really about ideology.
Some corporation's directors talk about the 'good of the corp' and sell on eBay.
Other corporations don't have taxes.
Go figure.

Good Luck Stronghold. You all have come along way as far as PvP is concerned. When I have engaged Stronghold members you fought a good smart fight. You all have earned my respect. Even more so now for leaving a dying Alliance like SA.

Umm don't think in this situation the Stockholm Syndrome apply's. Not by the CA any way as we kicked Stronhold out of GW along with all the other GWP out.
Now I could see your point if your talking about Stronghold being held "Captive" by SA. And by the things I hear about EV....I would not be suprised at all as they dont fight in SA and hold everyone else to do it for them.

Skyknight I would like to encourage you and your comrades to ask a Xetic XIF Ceo for a NAP for your corp and list that NAP in your Corporate description.

they wont need to ask for a nap as they seem to be part off c4 now.
Seems OC has passed on that knife

I get the feeling MASS won't be asking for a NAP?
Although your cryptic reference to knives seems bilious I do not undestand how it applies.
You are not speaking of Stain's ability to honor NAPs?

When Curse Alliance was facing off against many enemies, the coward (Curse Coalition) was very quick to splinter off and run to the "winner" side, now it appears as though Stain is now on it's last leg and again we see Curse Coalition corporations jumping like flees off a dog to sign up with the winning team.
I really don't care what happens between Stain and Curse much, but I will say this. You are all nothing but opportunistic bastards, the whole lot of you, don't deny it.
History tends to repeat itself and here is another fine textbook example. ------

After all this time you have got to be kidding me. The last of you who keep trying to stir cold, dead embers need to get over it.
Was there a clash between the leadership of EV/OC and the SA? Absolutely. Was the end result that OC was voted out of SA? Yes there were. Did this cause them to join CA and help create the undisputed largest alliance (currently ) in EVE. Seems so to me. Did I just read an OC member thanking SA for booting OC and kick starting the climb of the CA? Ya, I belive I just did.
I know several great guys in OC and I know a lot of my pilots respect many of theirs. The bottom line is that its ancient history. I'm not going to apologize for it, applaud it or after this, respond to anymore of these lame, tired cheap shots. Nor should anyone in EV. We've got a great corp and we are proud of our accomplishments. You might do the same instead of throwing the same tired turd in the same old punch bowl month after month after month.
Move on. Play the game and have some fun. We have.
Best of luck to you and Stronghold Skynight.

They declared today that they are leaving SA and started shooting at SA pilots immediately. What do you want me to say to them

Tivian, can you define what you mean with "respect"? Cause with this statement, you are looking as a complete idiot to everyone. You know... "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going"... You just said that Stronghold gained your respect for not being tough and instead "backstabbing" their old friends.

Backstabbing? Did they learn that from Everlasting Vendetta, Evolution and MASS, perhaps?
