I'm currently on a Steam 21 day trial.
I've been playing for 5 days only. If I upgrade to a full account, will my game time be stacked to 46 days remaining?
What other trial retrictions are there? Thank you.

I'm not sure actually. I'd wait until your trial is almost out before starting the paid account.

Edited by: Cash Tango on 11/03/2008 20:19:43 Yes, your time gets added on to the end of the trial, so if you have 16 days remaining and pay for the first 30 days, you'll have 46 days remaining.
What trial restrictions? Once you've paid for your account, the limits on what skills and ships you can posses is lifted even if you're still in your "trial" time.

Are you sure about that? People have told me that it doesn't stack, and I'm confused now as to what I should do to get the most of my character. A friend of mine is willing to help me out by sending me some money, but I need a full account first of course.

Ah they've changed it then. It used to be that if you subscribed, you lost any trial time remaining. But if you used a GTC to activate your account you didn't.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

Nice going. Thanks for that info. I'm in peace now to upgrade.
