hi i have just gotten my new rifter frigate and i was wondering what i should outfit it with. Currently i have it 3 125mm railguns in the high slots and a shield recharger, afterburner, and shield booster in the mid slots but i dont have anything in the low slots cause i dont have anything that i can use in them. Please tell me what i should outfit with to make it better

Why railguns? Use Artillery or Autocannons. ---- In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Addams |

Highs: 3x 150mm autocannons, 1x small nosferatu
Mids: 1x 1mn Afterburner, 1x 7.5km scrambler, 1x stasis webifier
Lows: 1x 200mm reinforced rolled tungsten plate, 1x Small Armor Repairer, Gyrostabalizer (for more damage)
try to use projectile weapons to gain advantage from ship bonus

First off Elana, you fit your ship for the intended job...
As you have not stated what you want to do with the rifter and have fitted rails I'm guessing you're running lvl 1 missions.
In the Rifter's description it states that the ship gets bonuses to small projectile weapons; autocannons or artilery. So fit one or the other depending on the range you wish to fight at.
Now there's nothing wrong with shield tanking a Rifter if you're fighting Angels, you're remaing lows should either be cap relays to fuel your tank or gyrostabilisers to up your damage. |

I like: Highs: 3x 200mm autocannon, 1x rocket launcher Mids: Afterburner (ideally a cold-gas arcjet), stasis webifier (PVE) or warp scrambler (PVP), capacitor recharger Lows: 200mm armor plate, small armor repairer, energized (resistance) plating
Choose the resistance plating based on the enemies you're fighting. There are charts and tables that tell you which damage type the enemies will fire, or you can choose an energized plate that protects a little bit from all damage types.
