Forgive me, are their any issues with windows, or other programs? Has anyone restarted since updating?
I have too much to risk on another CCP screw up.
Thanks for your time

Lots of people lost a lot of data. Many did not know it was a simple fix and instead spent lots of real money on computer techs who probably said they had a virus. So if you can't see how this question is important please go somewhere else.

Except that the boot.ini error happened to everyone. Seems only certain people are having troubles for whatever reason (Or they're liars who like to pound CCP and troll the forums) however I had no problems and therefore are answering you question that it is safe. _____________ Hai. |

Not anyone with Vista loaded actually. Which I unfortunately do have it installed... so no boot.ini ------------

and CCP set up a hot line and give out over 4 years of free game time to players effected. as in over all. one player that spent 250 $ to get his computer fixed got 1 free year.
also I don't blame people for being afriad as the game now used start.ini :P

Wrong. It didn't happen to me or anyone else using Vista.
I would think anyone with a anti-virus/spyware program would have been fine also, because I'm sure it would have caught an attempt to delete a system file.

What is this boot.ini you speak of, also a vista user, also all of the linux and mac users were not affected by the boot.ini issue so infact it was far from everyone :) ---------
