My apoc setup is completely screwed up, Now I can only fit 5 of the mega pulse lasers out of the 8 I could b4 the latest changes and now I can't even fit a web <- and thats just on a ratting ship, pvp setups are probably worse. Another thing is that one of the main things that attracted me to the apoc was the cap bonus, but now it's been hit by the nerf bat as well. How the hell is this an improvement?, I'm not even going to start on the new armor EM resists.

What the hell are you talking about?
The Apoc has 1000 more grid and 5 more CPU than it had before the patch. It has 1500 more cap too, raising it from 6000 to 7500. This is the same as the old 25% cap bonus.
CCP nerfed nothing. I can only conclude that you went out and nerfed your brain with a cr@ck pipe last night.

it didn't lose it's cap bonus your just dumb.
it's built it now it has the same cap it used it... actully if you didn't have amar battleship 5 your cap is now higher.
clap clap clap, for ignorance!
also if you could fit it before you can now fit more.
please tell us what was nerfed.

Those armor resistance changes are to help you and the rest of people who fly Amarr because they have given up on life destroy your targets' armor faster with your EM/Thermal laser damage. Fountain is a really dumb region too.

do either of u 2 fly an apoc? I doubt it coz if u did u would know what I'm talking about. I'm at least 100 cpu and 4000 pg less then I use to get

The capacitor bonus was built into the ship, the capacitor went from 6000 to 7500, that is the 25% capacitor bonus built in for free. It has the same recharge rate. You are getting 37.5% extra optimal range improvement over the old Apoc.
CPU increased from 500 to 505.
Powergrid increased from 19500 to 20500.
Megapulse T2s are the same CPU/Powergrid.
Not sure what exactly is the problem so far...

today i undocked the shiny new pwnage apoc, it does fit 8 megapulse IIs, and can, with rigs, run all 8 with standard L(45km optimal anyone?) and 1 LAR II. If you are going to troll, at least pick a ship that doesnt work, apoc does work now.

ahh, i guess the patch doesn't like swapping ships at a pos. the skills wern't applied when i switched ships...easy mistake but tbh i still think the EM change is fubar.

The EM change allows your lasers to hit harder in PVP. Quit whining.

Unfortunately, CCP seems to have missed the Navy Apoc.
It still has the same bonuses, PG, CPU as the pre 1.1 apoc

It's funny how I post about a potential bug and all I get is useless flames by ppl that don't have a clue about the situation at hand. Personal attacks are not needed and imo if thats all u can say then STFU and let the useful infomation to flow thru.

Sounds to me like you need to go back to the Academy and learn the basics again. . .
Quite frankly, the new Apoc has been the most welcome change to one of the best looking ships in the game.

As far as I know CCP is intending to completely overhaul faction ships at some point in the future and is probably just being lazy about it until then.

SoF is a small alliance that scuttles around the YZ area of Fountain. My impression of them is that they are very skittish carebears with quite a few macro farmers. Getting them to come out and play was harder than trying to coax a small animal out of a hole.

I didn't fly the old Apoc, because it was useless. I've been playing with the new one on the test server for several days. Its now a very viable ship. I can easily fit 8 mega pulse laser II's, plus 19k worth of armor, with resists of 63/70+/70+/70+. A cap booster in mids, tracking computers, painter, blah, blah, blah.
This set up hits nano Hacs, out tanks gank bs' etc... Far better range than the Abbadon, much less cost. Yeah, it sucks.
Now granted I have over 64mils skills. However, the point is: the ship is fine. Work on your fit. Try out different things. You might be surprised.
