Why is it that CCP can never reproduce any of the problems that large numbers of players report on their own machines?
Take, for example, "there is no such thing as desync".

This is rather disturbing esp after CCPs recent push for multiple accounting (buddy program etc.) Since they seem unable to " reproduce internally" I might suggest putting your secondary and tertiary accounts on a very long skill training and letting them go inactive. CCP doesn't seem to be listening on the forums, so lets speak with our pocket books.

Experience all of those problems and more since the last update. My stability is only about 60% outside of stations and combat has become a 50/50 on whether or not I'm going to crash the moment I pop drones.

Partial workaround to this incredibly annoying problem is to hit alt-enter, this should bring your locked client back to life (text will disappear so minimise/maximise your overview quickly to get the vital stuff back).
Currently running one windowed and one full screen classic client and hitting alt-enter a lot.

I agree with above, this works for me, but still annoying, hope they fix this asap

Like I posted in the other topic, once you've alt tabbed to eve and you're frozen, try pressing escape a few times, it should bring eve up. Eve is ignoring the fact that it's supposed to load into your screen somehow, also this is happening on all of my PCs, and none are running SLI, and it's happening on both ATI and nVidia cards.

ALT-Tabbing freezes my PC too. The described workaround is just that. A workaround. So please acknowledge the problem and that you are working on it.
Other accounts to set on hold would be a good idea.

I have the same problem along with alot of other bugs and it ****es me off seeing eve in this state, with more bugs then i've ever seen it before.

I confirm that hitting ESC a few times will bringit back resonding and without the darn text gone however ..it will still lock up again after a certain X ammount of minutes. Still its better then having to alt+enter and having all UI gone.

Yes when i alt tab my PC doesnt freeze just one of the clients will refuse to maximize as i tab back to it
runs perfect with new gfx versions enabled on both account just the alt /tab thing is obviously getting stuck as it changes between client
ill try the alt + enter fix , cheers

I run two moniters and once I start the game I have about 10 seconds before the game glitches to my other screen when I play in window mode.
If I alt tab the game doesn't crash before I close it because it makes it where i click anything in the game with my left mouse button and it minimizes for me......

I'm a brand new user (3 days new) and I'm not experiencing what you guys are. I'd look to upgrading your rigs and or maintenance on your own computers. Yep, that's what I think. |

Same problem game crashing on alt-tab when dual boxing.
