I just logged on for the first time after the patch, and went to set a new skill to train. I should have had Destroyers 5 completed, and was welcomed by the "completion iminent" phrase when I looked at my skillsheet. However, the progress bar showed no progress from the time I last logged on despite the 512k/512k skillpoint tally on the left. Setting a new skill to train, I seem to have lost over 112k skillpoints instantly. That's about how long the skill had left before the downtime started.
Asking in alliance, it seems one other person has encountered something similar. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Happened to me once, relogging fixed it.
I was halfway though mentally drafting a very angry petition so Im glad I tried ye-olde-turn-it-off-and-on-again first.

I've tried switching the skills back and forth and relogging. Still no avail. I do have a screenshot showing it completed. Not sure how much weight that would have towards my argument though :\.

Similar thing happened to me once. I relearnt the skill, my history showed sensor linking trained to 2 twice. The whole 'we never reimburse lost training time' mantra put me off even bothering filing a petition as whenever I have it always seems to be dealt with by some snot nose anyway. Plus it wasn't nearly as many sp as your loss.

When that happens, relog, but dont touch anything, dont cancel training or you will lose.

Happened to me once - I ended up learning Survey 1 twice. Even showed up in my training history like that until it dropped off the end of the list...

Mac Client? Just logged in, and my clock went crazy with "Completion Imminent" flashing in the skills... Command Ships L5..... .. and then it went up to 11 Hours, when it should have completed today at 4:45. By the way first time loging in since the patch went live, not sure when the servers came up. http://jinxbarker.blogspot.com/ Please visit your user settings to re-enable images.[/url] |

Possible that the database rebuild had something to do with it. Might be worth submitting a ticket this time since they had so many problems with Trinity 1.1

I've had it happen once while training one of the gang warfare skills to level 1. I didn't do anything about it though; I just assumed I was confused due to lack of sleep.

Really? That should have been enough proof for a petetion. The reason is your history log also shows lost skill points (via poddings) so if the skill was trained (according to your history log) and no coresponding 'loss' is listed (i.e. pod killing) then it can be proven it is bugged.
I guess you could also prove it if you trained the skill, and then had never lost a pod since then (since they track all kills).
