I do believe its a Felony for theft of $1,000 (Called Grand Larceny) or more . At least in my state.

Out of curiosity, I assume it's perfectly legal to blow someone up and steal their corpse in your state, since you seem to think the same laws apply?

Grand Theft Mothership
Should be easy finding the thief, just look for a guy beatin' ho's in a Jita back alley.

maybe it would be if this game was hosted in the states, or if the players involved were american. of the latter, we have no idea.

Ouch.
Well, if you know you fueled the POS, then it sounds like an alliance member defueled it to cover their tracks.
And this isnt grand larceny or anything like that, because the MoM didnt belong to jim, and it doesnt belong to its new owner either, it belongs to CCP and, officially, has no cash value.

I knew that someone would jump to that conclusion but didn't want to derail the thread even more with disclaimers.
Disclaimer: I don't imply that EVE crime should be treated similar to real life crime. I was merely expressing my interest in how real life crime relates to EVE crime, without trying to change the way it is handled in game.

If I weren't such a class act, I'd just post "interest paid in full" in big letters and leave the thread.
As it is, however, someone stole your mom, which is not cool because:
- Moms are awesome, though I would never think of saying anything about yours in particular and thereby conferring upon her a degree of awesomeness, as even if anything had happened, it was strictly between two consenting entities, and
- Stealing isn't cool
Thus, I express my disapproval with only the harshest of frowny faces at the thief involves in this thieving theft of thefted thievery: .
Also, newsflash, I've discovered that when I've just woken up and I haven't slept meaningfully in 48 hours, I post almost as incoherently and annoyingly as a Goon. Almost.
Here's hoping you get it back, or at least figure out who did it. Hint: check for dropped roles. Hint #2: also check for a mothership.
