Before people start whining about logoffskis... it doesn't bring you to the character selection screen. All it does it return you to the main log on screen. It closes the client then auto-relaunches it.
All it really does is save you from having to click on your shortcut of choice to relaunch the client.

Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

I'm not denying that logoffski happens, I'm just asserting that the addition of the logoff button does not indicate that CCP actively supports it. I feel this will be eventually suggested in this thread.

No it isnt because it kicks you out of game, it doesnt take you to the character screen - only difference to quitting the game is it restarts it for you.. :(
