Look like good combat skills, but do they work ingame? Do they make a difference in Fleet combat? Thanks in advance for any info.

They are both ingame and working. Had them since character creation when they were called Defense coordinator and Flight Commander (I still like those names more) and do what their descriptions say. 2% to shield capactity is very useful in fleet engagements. At level 5 you boost your and your gangmates shields by 10%. That's a lot of shields spread across the gang.

I would like to see more of skills like that, Like a skill who will boost up the gang's speed around 5%, And maybe one who will boost up the Rate of fire 2% per lvl.

Grandarsdottier dosent one of the 2 dose that ?
Thought 1 was for Shield and the other speed that are implemented right now in the game.

Yep 'Guerrilla Tactics' is the speed one.
Take a look at the leadership skills at eve-db and you'll see a pile of them that aren't available yet that cover loads of different bonuses - let's hope they make it into the game at some point...

'Leadership' itself, though it doesn't list it in the description, apparently has a targeting speed bonus in its attributes. Anyone know if that bonus is active?

I got a question about those skills .. if I fly lonely through space, aren't I my own little group ? Seems like those boni don't apply when ungrouped with others.
I was hoping to speed up myself a tiny little bit more.

Think I read somewhere that you have to be 3 in a gang and in the same grid for it to work.

2 players in gang min and they need to be in same solar system (undocked)

ive been keeping my eye on leadership skills for a few weeks now and they do seem to work aye, but, as said, only when your in the same grid as your gang mates. my speed bonus only kicked in when i was close to them, not when we were at different gates even in the same system

I have all three skills to 4.
I make a huge differance on shields.
Imagine 20 bs's and I fly in.......
Looks like everyones shields drop. 
BUT!!! they are increasing.
Awesome Skill to have.

The skills only work when you are in the same grid and in the same gang og the pilot who trained the skills. The skills are on the market AFAIK.

Do you need to be gang leader? Or does it give you the bonus for just having the skills in gang? I just never payed attention to it really... |

the bonus is taken from whoever has the highest level.

yeas but only from the person of the highest skill in the grid. If the fleet is split up but each group has some1 with say escort tactics at lvl 5 then they still get the bonus.
Just wanna point something out that is kinda cheap. remember that escort tactics increase the sheilds cap so it screws many ppl when they look at their sheilds rendevouing with the gagn and they only have 90% sheilds u still hafta recharge your sheilds with a booster.
