What EXACTLY can people access if I give this out? The information on this website isnt very specific as to what can be done, and what cannot be done with my account. I am talking about the Limited Key, not Full Access.
Can anybody touch my account? (as in change market orders? see hangar contents, etc?) or it it just a 'viewing'? I just don't get it, hopefully somebody can enlighten me here.

Basicaly
Limited key : can see skills (full list and in training), get list of characters for the key account and thats about it.
API keys are readOnly, as in, it can retreive informations, but cant change anything in the game (or access any Real life informations).
Beside spying, you dont risk your account in any way by using your api keys.

API keys are always VIEW ONLY. The limited just allows them to access your skill information and a few other basic items like amount in wallet. The full key allows them to view assets as well as corp assets that your character has access to see. Under no circumstances does a program or person with your API key will they be able to modify anything in-game.

The limited key gives, your skills trained, what is training, your account ballance, and your implants, of all 3 chars on the account. That is all.
The full key gives things like wallet transaction history, corp wallet if you have access, assets, POS's, a heap of things.
But the key is purely read only, they can't login to your account and cannot change anything.

And remember, if you give somebody your API key and later feel uncomfortable about them knowing so much, you can always change the key and render the old one useless. Just remember that if you do so, everything that you have submitted the old key for will also be useless and will need the new key.
