They have currency exchangers in the airport on the way into lobbies I think. I think the currency exhange your thinking of is, the pound to the ISK ( I think conversion). Or maybe you are talking about fines imposed when converting currencies. I wish I knew. Dont know the fines if their are any for those machines, or england fines or iceland fines, or if you use a credit or debit card over there, those fines as well. disorientating |

Just use your credit card.
Someone in Iceland have told me: It's really easy to see who is a tourist, as the "natives" are using their CC, and the tourists are using cash. |

Yeah but natives sometimes like foreigners. Also that with you dressing nicely, might lead to some easy fornication over seas.
Over course with using CC, go with the gold one (more impresive) or go with one with cash back deals or frequent fly mile deals. disorientating |

If you really want to take cash don't get it exchanged at the airport as their fees are extortionate on account of people having no other choice at that stage.
Like everything involving money, shop around, see where you can get the best deal. Check the Post-Office ad your bank etc. |

I live here and still use my Australian credit card. You can basically pay for everything on plastic except for parking machines and the bus.
Of course the problem with that is getting your bank statement back and seeing all those individual line items for beer. Luckily we don't waste paper printing them anymore. CCP Nullarbor | Exotic Dancer |

Is FIFA gonna hire you guys to go to Brazil and force them to sell beer at their world "football" game? I think you guys are the best to peer pressure people into getting drunk. Would even rival our own tobacco companies with advertising strategies. disorientating |
