Sytec Pator Tech School	Posted - 2008.03.16 11:56:00 - [1] Do these services still run? Or has a patch put a stop to them. I understood to get jump clone you require a NPC Corp Standing of +8 either with yourself, our with the Corp you are currently in. Is this still correct?
Falka Lakadaka BakaLakadaka Street	Posted - 2008.03.16 12:07:00 - [2] Jump clone services still exist to my knowledge. There are two main types: 1. Services like the Freeport Tortuga Station in EC-P8R. To get a JC here, you just show up and pay your fee (100,000 ISK as I remember). Getting to/from this station can be fun though, as it's in a hot 0.0 system with a high sec gate. 2. Services where you join a corp for a specified period. The corp has a number of members with high very standing and you join for just long enough to get the JC without pulling the standings down. These services sometimes have a waiting list as adding too many people might cause standings to drop below the magic 8.0. There's the other, more traditional, way of grinding standings to 8.0 with a corporation that has medical facilities. Always check before commencing the grind, you don't want to mission for weeks only to find they don't have a med bay for you to make your clone. It remains to be seen whether the jumpclone service will remain under what could be new ownership. --- MOZO

This looks likely - I got an eve-mail today saying that jump clones contracts had been moved from this outpost station to another one. The fee went to the owning corporation, so they were making money out of it. You'd better check to see if the station is still under the same sovereignty and/or if the service is still offered. If there is a camp on the gate, it will be bubbled, meaning that no amount of stabs will let you warp. The Vigil with MWD is a good idea - and if you have trained the skill for cloaking devices, fitting one in the highs will give you a reasonable chance of getting past a bubble camp once you get the hang of the MWD + Cloak technique. For this reason you'd probably be better off fitting overdrives and nanos in the lows, as you're going to want your speed as high as possible to get clear of the bubble (and any interceptors that are trying to uncloak you) in the shortest possible time.

There are corps which charge about 10 mill for hisec jumpclones.(10 mill flat fee.you can have as many clones as your skills allow) Or make a post asking for a jumpclone service in the want ads section.

Prob lost a few shuttles and pods, but kept my Clone up to date :) Got through this morning, guys must have asleep. :) Arrived at the station, but when docking says the Station doesn't like my corp. Go figure. Will post in the sell forums.

Black Star Alliance	Posted - 2008.03.18 01:36:00 - [11] Conversely you could just find a pirate station like the guardian angles or seperantis, all it takes is one JC, then you can go back to empire and jump to that clone, presto one clone in empire, do this as many times as needed, you don't need standings to get into them, you just have to get there.

Sounds like the rumours are true....either the owning corp has locked out non-alliance members to prevent enemy forces from docking there, or the change of management is underway.
