I've been doing some poking around on the test server...
and it seams Mining drones hit points are not effected by ether the drone durability skill or ships with drone HP bonuses.
Is this a bug? or as intended? |

i did another test with a small EXP smart bomb fitted arbitrator.
on the first pulse of the smrt bomb the T2 mining drones lost most of there shield with hardly any remaining HP, according to eve fitting tool with my current level of drone durability and amarr cruiser, they should of had just over half there shield HP left.
so it seams there not effected by character skills or ships bonuses while in space ether.

Bonuses are not applied even on TQ to mining drones. So likely intended. |

A reply from one of the eve dev's would be nice..
could we at least have an official word on this? wether its really intended or not.

But why should mining drones really have anything besides 1 armor, 1 shield, 1 struc any ways? |

I've never seen a mining drone get aggro unless the owner warps out. I would assume seeing as they are not combat drones that they wouldn't get aggro under any other circumstance? |

They get aggression from rats just like any other drone, combat or otherwise.

Those drone skills should be effecting ALL drones.

I really wanted to hear from a CCP dev on this...
Now i've got some time for eve this weekend, I'll do a bug report and see what one of the bug hunter team has to say on it. |
