Hia there, and sorry if this have been explained before 
Ok, here is the deal:
I have runned alot of lvl4's in my domi with permarunning lar2's x2. So i get the consept of armortanking
Recently i got a Caldari alt that i want to run missions with, while my Gallente char is reskilling for PvP.
Now here is what i dont get: Im currently running lvl3's to get enough standing with a passive Drake(this supprised me, its ALOT easyer than a gallente with a Myrm )
I then started to check out fittings in EFT for a Raven. How the heck is this supposed to be permarunned? is it even the consept to do this? Are i supposed to permarun a XL-booster, or 2xLarge boosters?
Need some guiding here

Only idiots use non-officer/deadpsce perma-shield tanks for missions. Just setup a shield tank and use it as needed.

Its cheaper with x3 ccc and you get a better cap/sec so it can be done without max cap skills

If you approach lvl 4s correctly and don't **** off everything in the room you don't need a perma run tank on a raven. What's more is if you control the aggro you wont lag and die (unless you run missions in major hubs like motsu and saila).

hmm...What about hardeners? But i think i understand the consept then Think i would use CCC's instead, im kinda impatient,, and want some bcu's in there instead

If you really really need to perma your raven, there's setups out there, otherwise just use when needed

If you want an XL booster on a raven, don't bother trying to make it permarun, just activate as needed. Never use 2 large shield boosters for any reason. If you want to permarun, you're best bet is permarunning a LSBII, which with good shield tank skills will get you through all the level 4s.

the invuls are your hardeners,
But usually i go for dps over tank, like someone said, choose your targets, i have 3 BCU's and 2 Damage rigs

perma running is mostly done with gist a's or x's xl shield booster, trying to do it with just a XL SB II is not worth it

Having run a large number of level 4s I much prefer being able to fully tank a pocket. I've had a good number of occasions where lag, RL or even desyncs would have gotten me killed otherwise. A Raven can permarun a XL shield booster with rigs but I still prefer using the Drakes much superior passive tank until I was able to use a Nighthawk. Until you can afford faction gear I don't see worrying about how fast you can complete a mission as worth the time.

Ok so I am the same as you i like perm-run setups, dont care what people say and tbh i would have died without it on more then one occasion so here is my perma run setup:
low:
capacitor flux coil2
4xBeta reactor control: capacitor power relay 1
mid:
4x t2 rat specific hardeners
dread gurista shield amp
dread gurista xl shield booster (neither of the DG items are realy needed but i thought why not)
high:
6x arbalest cruise
1x drone link augmentor
rigs:
3xccc's

putting CPR's on a shield boosting ship is like running a race with your shoes on the wrong feet.

rigs,a cap recharger and enough cap fluxes will make it perma run. However you'd be bether of with a few BCUs and micro manage the booster...

My setup, runs for 20 minutes.
6x Arby Cruise
2x Heavy Nos (best named)
1x Caldary Navy Large Shield Booster
1x Dread Guristas Shield Boost Amplifier
2x Primary Active Hardener (Kin)
2x Secondary Active Hardener (Therm)
2x BCU II
3x PDS II
5x Hammerhead II
2x Hammerhead II
1x CCC
1x EM rig
1x Therm rig
Lazymode? Get a Gist-B Type Large shield booster (less cap, more boost) or remove the EM rig and put another CCC there. Will permarun it.

i use 3x ccc and 4 cap flux. That permas my T2 XL booster..
