What, in your opinion, is the most overpriced item on the market today?
I'd have to say the F-90 medium slot sensor booster. 8M (judging by other threads) for a 10% extra targetting speed is so marginal it's just not worth it, in my opinion.

I agree with nightfang on the F-90.
However, the most overpriced item has to be, 1400mm's IMO. ------- Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes Guardian Enforcer, wrecking for 827.3 damage. |

I agree, 1400mm and the f-90 are overpriced.
I'd like to add one more to the list: Named large armor repairers.

that's a hard one, harvesters, named BS turrets, named large repairers and f-90s are high on the list. The f-90s are probably the most common of those though. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

Doesn't the best named Large armor repairer cost about the same as the best Large Shield Booster?
I know I paid 13m for my large C5-L and 14m for my Large Accommodation, both recently,

the "1400mm 'Scout' Artillery I." isnt really overpriced.
You can see ppl from time to time post "wtb 1400mm 'Scout' Artillery I 100mill each".
if they r not worth that much, why buy for so much?
and btw, us buyers control the market, if none of us buys, the sellers have to decrease their price...

F-90 sell for 10mill on the highway, sometimes i see ppl asking 15mill I aggree ,the difference is negligible in comparison to a prototype (52.5%) which sell for around 500k... But then again, look at top end bs class weapons! Ex: the 425mm carbide sell around 10-12m, the scout 15-18mill ,the compressed 30-40mil and the prototype 40-80m.The way things are atm, it's easy to loose a ship already ,now imagine a loaded ship! If you happen to use top end mods which you looted yoursef that's not so bad but if you spend top isk to equip a ship with top mods it can be upsetting. At the very heart of EVE's gameplay there's pvp+research+mining+market= ISK ! <-- it is this that rules the majority of players. I say majority not all the players. A small part of the comunity likes to concentrate more on player interaction (read: beat the cr@p out of each other) but even them need to rely on isk to fulfill their hobbies.
btw, there's an Alumel-wired sensor (57.5%) on escrow in Luminaire for 5mill

I bought mine less than a week ago. Escrow in Yulai, there were three 'Accommodations' priced between 14-15m (sold by Dalman or a friend of his).
Then again prices vary a lot. Wsn't that long ago when people paid 25m for a Large C5-L.

I will take this a little further, to include anything really
Zydrine - (gone from 1200 to 4500 in 3 months, whereas megacyte has gone from 10-14k down to 7-9k in the same time...??) Elite Frigate BPO's (300 - 600m) 27% expanders - 20m (give or take a few million)
And i agree with all of the above (especially harvesters which have a habit of dying first, whenever a rat appears)

f-90 sensor booster, hands down.
Wouldn't pay more than 300k for one, tops.

I can totally agree with a lot of the items already listed. The harveys are a little insane in prices, but I where can you find them in-game? You can't, so its one of those supply and demand thingys. As far as Zydrine, there is too many wallet gougers out there. Afaik the times I have been mining the rares Zydrine roids were eaiser to find

Me baby, oh yeah.
I'm the most overpriced item on the market today, come and get me while I'm hot! Only 1,000,000,000 isk and you've got yourself 220 lbs of solid minmatar lovin'. Fresh out of a life of slavery and looking for some sweet action!
Oh yeah baby! Yeah!

Yeah but on the other hand, they're built by hand since the minmatar use some kind of sticks and paste...

The most overpriced item... Harvesters, they usually sell for 1-1.2mill on escrow. (however they are pretty good)
But if you want something that is overpriced on the market... I would have to say ZYDRINE! because of its prices it is almost worthless buying a battleship blueprint because you end up spending half the price on zydrine/megacyte anyway.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |
