It clearly says 15% mining yield bonus on the info screen. I've been told many times before that it gives a yield bonus. I plugged it in, no bonus. Is it broken or what?...

Only applies if you are in a gang as the squad leader/booster etc, otherwise it doesn't give you the bonus on your own.

The actual 15% personal yield modifier only works in a gang, not just the 50% boost to mining foreman skill yield?...

As far as I know, yes.
From the implant description:
50% increase to Mining Foreman skill effectiveness.
So yeh, only applies in gangs.

The 15% is For Mining forman bonus in gang.

But overall he's right. So... When your in a gang you get a straight 15% boost with 50% to gang links?

Sigh, well it's nice to have that finally answered but 15% mining yield bonus is very stupid to statistically describe mining foreman skill bonus. To me that means you get 15% more yield from the implant, done deal. But no, 2 1/2 months of training ****ed in the wind I suppose...

Yet another person complaining because they trained for/bought something that didnt work like they wanted it to. At least this guy isnt complaining that its CCPs fault that he didnt find out how something works before getting it.
