Just want to see if anyone else is having this problem. I often alt-tab out of eve, whether to talk on instant messenger, check email while sitting in station or whatever. Or merely switch my song on winamp. However with the introduction of this new patch when one minimizes, if you wait longer than a few seconds and then try to reopen the game window, it crashes and you have to end the process to get your cursor back?
Anyone else experiencing anything similiar?

having the same issue. Was fine before the patch.
Really frustrating. Running missions is boring enough, I usually am only half paying attention and alt+tabbing out of EVE to watch TV shows or browse teh interwebs.

Work-around: Use window-mode in combination with evemon's resize feature?
Should be faster than fullscreen switching anyways.

Yes, i two have been having this problem. Thought there was just something wrong with this laptap I've been using since the last patch but i'm glad that this is a bug in the game rather than the laptop.
I'm sure our beloved GM's will act quickly to fix this problemo

No! Keep it how it is!!
Alt-tabbing used to take forever.
Eve would minimize...desktop would appear, flash black..whole pc would come to a halt.
Now, for some reason, it takes no longer than five seconds to minimize eve and be able to do whatever else.

same problem here. I used to have no problem playing eve full screen and alt-tabbing out, now i can't get eve to maximize without the computer stuttering and the cursor disappearing.

when it is stuck minimized select it then keep hitting space and enter randomly
and it comes back

I've had this problem from time to time since the patch. I'm running two clients at once, and on occasion one of them will basically stall when I try to open it up once its minimized. It requires an "end process" to shut it down.
I remember seeing some sort of Visual C window pop up, too, but I couldn't actually see the window to know what it said...but it was visible on the taskbar. /shrug

I've had this problem in windowed mode, only sporadically though.
Pain in the ass when checking the excel construction sheet.
