Cheap little shuttles that you can buy to fly to where your other ships are and bring them all to one place. Hopefully.

In case you didn't catch the news article...
"The empires have responded to the many requests for cheap alternative ways for space travel by launching space shuttles. These small vessels are only intended to ferry personnel between places and have no weaponry or other ship equipment. The shuttles offer a fast and efficient way to travel between distant places for a very small sum of money. Each of the empires have launched their own shuttle type, so all space farers should be able utilize these new machines. The first batch of space shuttles will arrive tomorrow."
In other words, if you have 5 ships at 4 different stations, these shuttles will help you bring all those other ships back to one central location. Finally... only been promised this since what... beta_2?

I wonder how safe these are to use, as in how vulnerable they might be. Couldn't be worse than using pods to achieve the same result though. Aldre |

Hmmmm... If you get podded in these shuttles, do you get another rookie ship back at base?

Where do you buy these shuttles? What are they listed under in the market? Sorry to be a pest :)

I've seen the shuttles on market if you turn off active items, but nothing concrete on them as yet.

There is a good advantage about using these instead of a pod directly; 1st, they go at 400m/s while a pod go at 150m/s 2nd, you probably still are in a pod in them, so if they get destroyed, you'll just warp asap before you get podded
I don't see much more uses than noob ships however, except if they are available at every and all stations or if you can put them in your hold, but i doubt that...

I'd still rather have a way to move the ships to me than bring me out to the ships. If only the repackaged ship size was smaller so that they fit inside an industrial.

You can not sell them in any location i have been.
I find they must be availeble in any location where you been and you rent them for a while if go too you other ship again they disappear.
Or else we get shuttles for sale that are more worth ans normal ships

Shuttels are urban myth pure and simple. I've yet to see evidence of an actual shuttle. ------------------------------------------------ "Your little princess is my little ****" |
