Hmm... I wonder if that thing could be made to run at a decent canter. Put it to use as a robotic horse since it can handle the weight. _______________________________

Holy crap that's some smooth software. When you see it slipping on the ice, it looks so natural. I wonder what drives the legs, Hydrolics/Pneumatics/Servos.
Nice video !

EDIT: Around 0:50-1:00 in this trailer.
340lbs payload, that should be enough for some guns :).

I think he's talking about a robot made out of building-block sized pieces that can rearrange themselves into a snake/dog-thing/whatever.

Do you honestly believe that? Honestly?

I dont think its a fuel cell. That is a two stroke chainsaw engine if I ever heard one. I am guessing the legs are hydraulic then as well. You get massive power that way. Just like a hydraulic wood splitter. Those things pack enough force to cut a car in half. _______________________________________________ RuntimeError: ChainEvent is blocking by design, but you're block trapped. I wasnt saying it is a fuel cell, but that it should be. I have no idea what a two stroke chainsaw engine sounds like, so Ill take your word for it.

a two-stroke engine sounds like a monstrous four-legged robot struggling up a hillside.

When I finally got to a place where I could actually listen to the audio.... Yep, that's a little 2-stroke all right. The footage done inside the building was very quiet since they ran external power to the thing.
I still think that'd be a fun little contraption to play with. Perhaps use a different engine with more of a muffler system on it. _______________________________
