Alot of the materials markets seem to be drying up in rens, though not for a lack of buyers.
Over the past two weeks i've noticed a marked slowdown in the rate that my buy orders in rens are being filled. However, i've also noticed that things i put up on the market are being snapped up in no time. Everytime on of my orders DOES happen to fill, when i put it back up on market its gone within minutes (or in the WORST CASE by the next day).
i've heard alot of noise about rens dying as a market, but theres still more people in local than in either amarr or oursellart, so whats up? are sellers just deciding to take their goods elsewhere (prices in rens are higher than in amarr due to shortages).
Are there any miners/industrialists that have moved, that could shed some light on whats up?

One possible theory I can add to the mix is that the compression nerf is finally hitting where I expected it to. With things like Sensor Boosters taking 100m3 it is incredibly hard to loot missions for minerals to the point of not being worth it.
I ran missions for the first time in awhile this week and I was flabberghasted when a 'small' level 4 mission like "Right Hand of Zazzamatazz" generated over 2100m3 of loot. That's 3 trips in a salvage destroyer--for a level 4 mission with one of the lowest NPC ship counts.

Where exactly is JihadSwarm operating? I've heard them credited with the overall increase the price of tritanium, because they're hitting so many high-sec miners.
It's possible they're having a more profound effect on a wider range of materials in the sectors where they're operating more heavily.

i heard that they were targetting everywhere BUT heimatar, which would follow that rens would benefit from an increase in activity..
thats also likely a huge crok of shyte, but who knows.
if i was going to attribute this to goons at all, i'd say it has more to do with the war disrupting supply chains than anything else

Given a number of goons are using the public nature of JihadSwarm to actually demand ransoms from highsec miners, I truly doubt they are having that much of an impact on the availability of minerals. But what would I know?

It sounds to me like Cogwheel had it right. Raise your bids and you'll get more volume. Maybe you could expand your mineral buys to other areas, but sounds like you don't want to ship from out of system.

Yes, Rens is indeed in a terrible state and I strongly recommend you pack up and leave immediately for greener pastures.
