Someone help me? :P
I've killed people in the past, I've done 0.0 "PvP" (bleh), but I want to become a proper -10.0 yarr.
What to do? Who to talk to?

Look in the corp and alliance recruitment forum. See who's looking for guys to join. Check out their killboard and if it looks like something you like join their recruitment channel. It's just like joining any other corporation in the game.

Being a pirate for real would probably end up in a watery grave at the hands of the coastguard. Not recomended.
Wait, maybe Im misunderstanding something... -----------

I've got a boat, and friends in the coast guard. All I need now is a flag and an eye patch

heh, you'd have learned the trade long ago had you stayed around :) I'll send you a mail tomorrow with some contacts, old faces.
=)
PS. Hearing "Vim sounds like my old professor, iam half asleep already" when explaing the reasoning behind RR and buffer tanks was a big blow to my 'iam still young iam still young' mindset :-/ Seems I got a knack for the 'being a teacher' thing :P

Step 1: Start a pirate corp with a name that doesn't fit your trade at all.
Step 2: Recruit other carebears who have no experience in the trade other than mining and missions. Make sure they can smack talk and pretend they have been in the trade since the beginning.
Step 3: Buy Tech 1 and Tech 2 (if available) crusiers, battlecruisers and battleships to tank out sentry.
Step 4: Make sure at least one of you can catch someone when they pop in the system.
Step 5: Sit on a gate in low security empire (yes it's still empire).
Step 6: Lock target, Warp jam target, then proceed F1 to F11 (whatever).
Step 7: You are now a empire pirate who is badder than hell.
Step 8: Post on the forums about how you owned the world with skill and tactics.
Step 9: Pick one good spokesperson to always post for your corp to gain forum creds.
Step 10: Repeat steps 2 through 9 until you become a known pirate corp and people worship your corp until you break up and reform later under another or the same name.
Thank you, good night.

You forgot some important steps!! Like creating alts to start threads about your pirate corp and how uber it is.
Also the important step of getting involved in long drawn out 10 page threads where people rubbish you mad stratz but claiming that you don't care about what they say anyway. -

You want to be a real pirate? Go to low sec and kill whatever you find. No rules, no mercy, no pirate code, nothing just pillage and plunder. And don't care what people on the internet have to say about you and your game play.
Good Luck,
