Do Suicide Gankers Attack Couriers?

Meridius Dex Foundation R0ADKILL	Posted - 2008.03.17 22:31:00 - [1] I've been skilling up an alt for freighters and here's a question that just occurred to me: How do suicide gankers evaluate courier targets? I've never couriered myself, but have had others courier for me many times - without loss. If a courier package (of any size) is a faceless item, with no way to identify it's contents, how do suicide gankers make their decision to attack or not? Do they ever attack couriers? If I courier contract a faction ship to my freighter alt, than all that will be visible in the cargo hold is a XX,000 m3 package, yes? -- Meridius Dex -- Amarr = EVE on Hard setting

Narcissuss Uaelb	Posted - 2008.03.18 16:08:00 - [13] Actually, If someone creates a courier contract of a secure container (with what you want to hide in the container), then a cargo scanner will not pick up the container contents. Anything along side the container in the contract will be picked up by a scanner tho.

Ofcource you can have many hangars with 1000 items in each, but on your ship I am afraid you would be limited to 1000. Even if you are limited to 1000 items in your cargo hold, I'd definitely put a few hundred in my freighter to confuse those scanning it's contents quickly. -- Meridius Dex -- Amarr = EVE on Hard setting
