I would like to see economic sanctions be taken on Xanadu and Big in response to their criminal behavior of this past weekend. I want to see a total boycot of all commerce with them. I have it on good authority that Evolution had a strong hand in this activity and Xan are in league with them and M0o in over-throwing FA. Believe me or not, let the record speak for itself. They have no monopoly and can be easily sanctioned of the good denizen of Eve simply vote with their ISK. This is one noob who will buy elsewhere and I suggest the ritcheous Eve population follow suit.

If you are a complete n00b, how do you know anything about Xan and "what they've done"?

Not a real "noob". Since I must defend myself (sigh) I sold my account in November when Eve was stagnent, which I of couse regret now. Why that means ANYTHING to you is beyond me. Think what you want, what I say has full meaning.
Paddy, maybe M0o isnt activily working with FA, but you and Evol are friends and in Eve, there is guilt by association. Surely dalman knows that.

Edited by: Baun on 12/04/2004 01:05:25 Ahh so because M0o and evol have worked together before M0o is thus actively helping support the FA coup?
Does this mean that CFS, SA, DSMA, Norad, PA etc are also helping out just because they have worked with the FA (and Xanadu etc) before?
Truly laughable. In any case, however, do you really think that anyone other than the 5-10 corps that are now no longer in FA are going to stop buying things from Xanadu? Pirates, people actively involved with wars against the FA etc etc continue to buy from Xan regardless of their current standing with them. Most people either don't care or dont self righteously presume to know the full story concerning something in which they have no involvement (unlike you).

The truth of the matter is that XAN lead a coup to throw those they couldnt like out of the FA, thus nutering the FA's legal procedure. How you cannt see this is beyond me. Having a hand in forming the FA, I see this as treasous behavior and an admited coup. Stop being a lap-dog to get in, its truely discusting to watch.

Like you said you're a noob and thus, know nothing.
Xan does not like m0o. M0o was not in fountain this weekend. M0o has absolutly nothing to do with what happened this weekend.

Wow I wish you knew how retarded this comment is. We're friends with Everlasting Vendetta. Guess them leaving the Stain Alliance was our fault. You know... Guilty by assocciation.

Yep, I did- after I posted on the first post. You *should* know this as you quoted me in your last post.

Since you feel the need to point out gramatical errors, I shall do like wise. Those living in the glass hous should not cast stones. Only a "retard" would write like that ace.

I was just thinking like i often do, although its not like normal thinking since i am on the borderline of being stark raving mad and on a good day my rationality is that of a microwave.
Would be really funny if all the little angry ex FA members would fly around in the highway systems and protest about how they were treated unfairly in their opinion.
Just like little angry people do in real life. Spawn of the Devil

Edited by: Mitchello on 12/04/2004 05:20:55 I've never though of economic sanctions, what an intersting RP idea. Though the diversity of EVE is SO massive that i doubt not finding buyers and selling would ever be a problem.
would be an interesting level of RP if some one was sanctioned like the U.N. does.
Maybe an option where your CEO can omit sale and buy orders from enemy corps or something. Add a level to the game that I think would motivate some decent RP.

Sorry, but this just blew your credibility out of the water. In the real world, legal procedure is created to keep the weak and stupid of our society safe, those who would ordinarily be preyed upon by people who are better at what they do. This being a game, legal procedure can go to hell.

Even if you wanted to sanction how would you pull it off. There is no way to tell who you are buy stuff from off the market, so there is no way of telling if you are going to buy an item from Xandu or not.
Anways, I am not really concerned with the problems going on in your alliances I was just curious how you would pull it off

Hey genius(Prof Coldheart), how exactly can you boycott any corporation out there when they can just give the items they manufacture and sell to an alt and have them put it up on the market? Or even better, an alt in a dummy corporation do it for them or... Well we could go on for hours on this.
My point is, you could be buying any corporations materials from anybody in Eve, you just dont know.

Actually HG, respect does matter in-game.
Power can earn respect but so can honest and upfront deals, if XAN had made the terms easier for the departing corporations after the coup I'm fairly sure there would be less resentment.
However with you being HG, I doubt that you care one iota about the honest and upfront part
