What is the going rate to hire someone to kill someone? I had my ship destroyed and was then podkilled despite paying a ransom. They fly a pilgrim. Once I know whether I can afford it or not I'll post their details.

my mate Stabber says he'll do him for 2 grand, but he'd need to know which pubs he drinks in.

No time to hunt him on your own? Or scared of repeating the situation? ------------

The OP does have a point, the bounty system is no use now.

What is stopping you from going after him? The bounty system is ****ed, granted so gird up your loins and get a pvp fitted ship and out you go to get him.

I would but I'm new to the game. I have 1.4 mil skill points and was flying a cormorant. I have no chance against someone with more skillpoints and a t2 ship.

If you're new, then I'm sure that you wouldn't like to hear about how much ISK you'd have to pay to have your target done away with.
Now, if you might provide some intel (i.e. What Corp he's in, the number of members, what ships they fly) then you might find somebody itching for a free wardec on a nice, juicy target.

Well I'd be happy if someone were to do it for free, you're right I probably can't afford to hire anyone. But if someone's willing to kill a ransom ganker who doesn't honour deals I'd be more than happy, it would be nice to see a little karma.

Before you get edited by dear CCP Mitnal, I recommend removing the killmail data (it's not allowed, if it shows the name of the attacker) and just name the attacker in a sentence saying, "So-and-so blew up my ship and I want vengeance!"

Revenge is always best when you are the one who dishes it out. Your best bet is prolly to make a note of your hunter, get some skills and experience under your belt, and then hope he's still around when the odds are a bit more even. May take a while and may not, but patience is a virtue. Or so I'm told.
