I am currently running lvl4 missions with a Nighthawk+Astarte on a dual monitor setup. I am trying to get more DPS so I am upgrading the Astarte to a Kronos tomorrow. (ya i know the nh has crap for dps but it has an uber tank)
I am trying to get some setups for the Kronos. Battleclinic has a few that use blaster but EFT says the optimal range with Antimater is really low so I am thinking large t2 rails.
My question was whether to run dual LAR's with a cap booster or a single LAR with a permatank setup?
With the all the server instability issues I am a bit worried about a lag-out costing me my 750mil isk ship though so I am thinking 1 LAR.
Any other suggestions? I'm not sure what to fit for rigs either.

1 lar whit 425mm t2 rails and try to ge 3 magstabs in as your using NH to tank

I decided to go with a single Core A-type LAR.
With that, what rigs should I use? 1 CCC and 1 aux nano or something else?

Ideally you'd use 2 x Aux nano pump, to get the most out of your rep. If you're dead-set on a permatank setup, you might have to drop one for cap...

my setup:
hi
4x 425mm t2 ( + gallente antimater/lead ammo), 2x tractor beams, 1x salvager
med
3x cap rec T2, 1x webber/tracking comp ( still undecided.. much depend on missions.sometimes its better one , sometimes the other)
low
2x lar, 2x dammage mods, 3x hardeners ( or 2x eanm + DC2 for omnitank)
rigs:
1x cap
1x aux nano pump
it permarun easily with 1 lar and can run the second ( almost never needed) for some time. Even is the second rep is almost never needed, i prefer have another rep because of the "almost" part. Its an expensive ship to loose so i wanna be safe if i did something wrong with the mission.

my setup is very similar to Heelays and runs well.

agreed with the web/tracking comp. I have tried both and in general the TC seems to do really well against guristas (they tend to orbit 30 km away or so) and against most serpentis ships as well. some serpentis ships and a lot of angel ships tend to orbit quite close and the web seems more efficient when dealing with those.

I let 1 LAR II do the job and use the free slot for the 3rd mag field stab and then use 3 x mission specific hardeners. I switch to 4 hardeners when dealing with angels or mixed caldari/amarr missions.
this setup permaruns with max cap skills.
the only occations when I have had to worry a little bit is on WC serpentis stage, when I accidentally get full stage aggro, but the 425mm's reduce the damage you take pretty fast, and then on cargo delivery when dealing with blood raiders, as they suck up a bit of cap, which can prevent you from permarunning your guns and tank.

Alt post for obvious reasons.
I use the following:
4 x dread gurista 425, tractor, salvage (still playing with the last high but nothing really leaps out. Defaults to another tractor)
Gist B AB, 2 x dark blood CR, 14km web
Centus X LAR, dark blood CPR, gal navy MS, 4 hardners (or 3 + another MS)
Rigs: Hybrid collision and aux nano pump
Caldari or Gal AM ammo
I use Centus X hardners and a Corpum A energized. Mix n match for best use for whatever you're up against.
No idea what it's worth these days - I've had it yonks and just shifted the fit from my nightmare when they nerfed them.
