I've left behind the mining, mission running carebear of my early days in EvE and am now trying to become a full on PvP'er. In the last few weeks I've dropped my sec status to -1.0 for the first time since starting and I've gotten some of the best fights I've had in this game too. Bums me out that most fights are blobs (can't say I haven't done my fair share of it) but I've got new respect for those who go looking for the small gang and solo action that got me interested in PvP in the first place. Second time i waas flying to get skill books in a Shuttle and got blown up and podded.

I've been into low sec a few times looking for 1 on 1 fights with my tech 1 frigates, but it's seems really hard to find a fight at all, but less one where you're not outnumbered or out gunned. I finally attacked a cruiser with my Merlin a couple of times just to get my feet wet, knowing I would die horribly. How can I find more consistent ways to find 1 v 1 duels? Someone said it's like fishing, but fishing has never been an adrenaline rush for me - too much time watching nothing happen. Like someone said, is there an arena or something?

Got my pants pulled down to be royally rogered a Crow, a Vexor and a Zealot. Podded also, which seemed a little unnecessary. I'm afraid I wasn't much competion but I've got their names and corp (you know, revenge is a dish best served cold). This was my first time into lowsec and I did get a couple of Angel cruisers and a BC so that made me smile. I'll be back a little more skilled (and with a bigger stick).
