Hi,
I recently attempted to re-activate one of my accounts that ran out a few days ago. But instead of the $14.99 or w/e they have shown that I need to pay 19!?. I only have a $20 (aud) in my account atm... and obviously thats not enough for the 20 whack. But why oh why does it want to charge me more now? I have been using this alt for over 3 years now.
Please help, as he has no skills on ./loose sleep

No idea, but time cards are still 14.99, might pick one up if ccp wants you to pay 20.

i had the same thing when i reactived my 3 year old account after a couple of months off. I was not very impressed, but i wanted to play, so i paid

Is this a confusion between US dollars and AU dollars?
Do Australians pay the USD or Euro price?
By my understanding Ç14.99 is ~$25.60 AU and $14.99 US is ~$16.20 AU, neither of which is $19, but I thought I'd check.

nah, I just dealt with this too. It's sneaky; you go to reactivate your account with a cc and then you read this curious message about how you'll be billed 20 USD (at least in my case) for the first month's subscription. In my case, it was a 2+ year old character who had been out of commission for the last 60 days.
If only CCP could be explicit about the nature of the charge. The 20USD note is in the middle of a message about being sure to enter your CC details correctly. Slippery!
Hey, doesn't it make sense though that we should be punished for letting our accounts lapse? That we should have to pay a reactivation fee just as when letting a phone line die here in the States? Pffft, I see no justification whatsoever for the fine print penalization of folks wanting to reactivate their accounts. What gives, CCP?

Does it actually charge that? (Actually check a statement please)
I know that the first month of a subscription is $/Ç 20, but I didn't think it also applied to reactivating accounts...

Nah, I checked my credit card after I saw this odd message too. I was only charged the $14.95 US for a month. It seems that page needs to be rewritten.
