Well, at least that's what I clearly get when I use my directional scanner.
Makes me wonder a few things.
Is this intended ? (Guess not, but still.)
What else is back on directional scanner ? Like, are CA visible again ?
Does anyone else think it's a pretty major issue ?

Just to confirm: I'm not the only one seeing wrecks and containers on my scanner, am I ?

I saw them last time I scanned. Thought that was by design if you had the directional scanner respecting your overview settings.

AFAIK, it wasn't intentional that they were removed with Trinity to begin with. The fact that they're back on D-Scan with Trinity 1.1 is just fixing the fact that they were gone. If you don't want to see that stuff on D-Scan, right click it and click Remove "this thing" from overview, then check the box marked "Use overview settings."
I was NOT amused when these things were left off of the D-Scanner... seeing a mining barge on scan is one thing. Seeing a cargo can is another thing. Narrowing the D-scanner down to a 5 degree scan angle and seeing both a mining barge and a can in one belt is a beautiful thing.
EDIT: For clarification, can flipping is how I recruit miners for my corporation. I flip can, miner talks smack and whines, miner gets harassed for laughs 'til boredom sets in. I flip can, miner is cool about it, shows a good mindset towards the game, miner gets recruited. I've gotten 3 good miners this way =)

Have they fixed the bug where scan probes don't show up unless you leave 'use overview settings' unticked?

What bothers me is: no word from CCP. As someone who uses D-scanner for both offence and defense, I can only stress that being able to see wrecks and cans is a huge factor in probing and intel gathering.

I've been part of several threads asking for some sort of answer about this issue. Unless I've missed it, there hasn't been a word to date.

More like 3 stupid miners. People who fall for that sort of thing deserve, though, I guess.

I do believe that Mike recruits those miners who actually notice that the can has been flipped and who are subsequently able to hold an intelligent conversation. Those that don't notice and subsequently get flagged are not mentioned at all, or are in the "just got blown up, learned something, how did that happen?" bucket, which is rare but possible.
