Hello folks, I have been wanting to get back into PvP would like to know which ship is good for solo work. I am looking for Gallente or Amarr options and the cheaper the fit the better. As we all know its not an 'if' but a 'when' we loose our ships.
Thanks, --R

Vengeance? Or am I the only one who thinks that's any good (I never see them). . .
Though if you want to target something besides miners and mission running cruisers/frigs I guess my vote would go to the Sac also - it's one of the few nano ships that scares me since it has a pretty nasty bite along with it's speed. Though, I don't know if you can consider the Sac a cheap ship, especially if it's nano'd.

You want to solo pvp?
Tbh, you'll probably want a recon .... pref the ones with a cov-ops cloak so you can pick your fights

WHAT
People do it all the time. I prefer the regular tank (with mwd) Sacrilege though.

WHAT
Sac works great in nano, tank, or both nano and tank at the same time.

Shame he was looking for Amarr or gallente, oh and he was looking for a cheap setup
To the op: Is this for low sec pvp? If so, the thorax can be good __________________________________ Garmonation - Rupture fun video

If you are going to solo, do it right! But if you must have a cheap amarr / galente ship.... then go for arbitrator. If a T2 ship is "cheap" Then a nano zealot.

@Garmon, Low sec mainly but I have no problems going in 0.0 space. Hmm a thorax would work out nice. Maybe go for a recon like others suggested.
And what I mean by "cheap" is for the ship + fitting to be under $150M. A CNR is out of my price range and skill set.

I dont think you can use a ship under 150m in lowsec anymore, it's just too blobby and the lack of targets at belts etc is not really helpful so you need something that can fight a bit more. --- Teeheee! mematar's Video Archive |

Uhhh... Vexor, Thorax and Arbitrator are excellent (low sec) solo pvp ships. Cheap and effective.
If 0.0 yeah you'd probably need a recon or something that can get away from blobs. You might want to look at the taranis or malediction as an option, though. They'll grind down some cruisers fairly effectively, and dogfights with other interceptors are awesome.
