Wondering if anyone else experienced this...
We war decced a corporation. Ten hours or so later, they joined an alliance. Now, according to the corporation war window, we can fight. However, once they joined the alliance, the war dec did NOT transfer over.
None of them shows as red stars, they only show set as -10. The war has been live (not just declared, actually live) for almost an additional 24 hours. The original corp we decced, does not show as flashy red, or starred. Nor does their new alliance..

it should be transfered to the entire alliance, if they left the alliance the war is probably left behind with the alliance which is an exploit.
Screens might be appreciated to avoid confusion of who is at war with who.

No, we cant shoot anyone. We just verified this shooting at a war target who it claims we could shoot. We got concorded. Corp War window states, we can fight. Yet they arent showing up as war targets, and we get concorded for shooting them

Yea, that happened to us not long ago. We lost a ship to concord because of it..

It is only an exploit if they left the alliance to get rid of the war. Otherwise it's not an exploit.

Hey Heart,
we had that exact same problem about 6 months ago when we were hired to take down a pos of kublai's. He left derek knows us, so we wardec'd his corp. When he joined another alliance our dec did not transfer (just stuck with his corp).
We both petitioned to see what the heck was going on and the GMs said we would be exploiting if we shot him, and ended the war. So yeah the GMs know all about this bug and have done for months.

they know this is occurring and were supposed to be sorting it but tbh, ccp hates mercs so they sit on their hands as long as poss

Well we couldn't exploit since Concord smacked us down when we tried to shoot. We just had to war dec the alliance instead of the corp, since they joined em anyway.
The GM that handled it for us was quite nice, we submitted a bug report. He seemed to think it was a new issue though.
