I have a myrmidon and it recently got destroyed in a mission. Only lvl 3 I got a new one though. I'm new to Gallente and not 100% sure on how I should setup my myrmidon. I don't have very many skill points(around 3 million) and I want my Myrmidon setup to be kind of a mission/support ship. Any ideas?

Yeah, I recommend clicking the big shiny sticky at the top of the page that says "Ship Setup Index" and clicking the link to the Myrmidon setups. _____________________________________________________________________________

Your question is reasonably worded, so I'll respond :)
Myrmidon 5x 200mm Proto Rails, Tractor 10mn AB, 4x Cap Recharger II 2x MAR II, 3x Hardener II, DC II 3x Aux Nano Pump I
Carry around lots of T2 medium/light drones or the appropriate damage type. T2 cap and tank is important.

I tend to agree with above... though for a lvl 3 mission you shouldn't need 2x reps... i'd go 1x rep, 1x dc, 4x rat specific hardeners. That plus rat specific drone dmg should carry you through anything in the game. I wouldn't bother riggin a lvl 3 runner either, but if you have the isk knock yourself out. ------- Even my barge has kills... |

lol don't say that, thats awful advice, I still remember the first time I met krull on damsel
rigs is arguable, but I wouldn't either, rather use an unsustainable booster to mimic the effect of some ccc, much cheaper that way

wow for once i disagree with liang - but only a bit lol - dont use 3 x aux nano rigs - use 2 and 1 nanobot rig --> reason it works better coz of the stacking penalty on aux nano pumps......
other than that i like this setup

Sigh, I kicked your ass and proved you wrong on KOS alliance forums when we had this fight there. You should go reference that thread for the hard statistical numbers that show that aux nano pumps are not stacking nerfed as much as you think that they are.
The Nanobot accelerator does indeed help the maximum tank more, but the third aux nano pump helps more with cap efficiency and sustainability.

i suggest u train ur cap skills then - i use 2 aux and 1 nanobot and find it works better - but at the end of the day its personal pref adn skill dependant

Seeing as the guy mentioned having 3 mil SP, I doubt he can afford rigging his myrm, only to lose it due to his general inexperience. 
Go for maximum tank at first(it's kind of overkill anyway), then lessen the amount of tank mods in favor of damage ones until you've found your sweet spot.

For a reasonably competent Mrym, you'll need: - Engineering, Electronics 5 - Battlecruiser 4 - High Speed Navigation (MWD for PVP) - Drones 5 - Scout Drones 5 - Combat Drones 4 - Gallente, Minmatar Drone Spec 3-4 - Cap skills at 4+ (Energy Sys Op, Energy Management) - Hull Upgrades 5 - Mechanics 5 - Armor Compensation skills at 3-4 - Repair Systems 5 - Energy Emissions Systems 3-4 (Nos, Neut) - Medium Turrets 4 (Associated gunnery at 3-4) - Advanced Weapon Upgrades is a big plus, but somewhat unnecessary - Remaining Drone Support 4 - Armor Rigging 3
Erm, well, that's a start anyway. :) Roughly in order of importance...
