Hi all,
I just reacctivate my sub, and went out to rat in my raven. So, I'm using arbalest siege launchers and when I fire on enemies they all seem to disappear right before they hit, unless the enemies within 15k, and sometimes even then..Can anyone tell me whats going on? Have siege missiles been nerfed to the point of having a range no greater than a water pistol, or is it a bug?

Actually, they have been buffed and brought in line with the other factions. One longrange/less dmg BS weapon (cruise) and close range/fast/high dmg weapon. Tops are now a viable closerange PvP weapon.
OP: Use Cruise instead.

Edited by: Darwin Duck on 20/03/2008 04:25:31 Hate that you can't get a skill modified range info instead of having to calculate it all yourself. For instance Fury cruise missiles have a default 10 sec run time and a max spd of 1,750M/S so by default they should have a range of 17.5KM, but coz of my skills and the raven bonus mine hit at over 50km. Why should I have to calc it myself? Doesn't the ship have a super computer onboard to do it for me? For all I know they'll hit at 60KM too, but I never fire them until I'm about 50-55KM away and they always hit.

Hmm, so checking it in fitting tells the whole story? I want it to show up when you right click and info the module in space, like on guns (optimal range/falloff) depending on ammo. I have acctually never ever checked info on modules in the fitting screen.
