I see a lot of PVE drake setups but what about a pvp setup.

Medium-sized or larger gang PvP, pretty much the same as PvE setup.
It just works. Plenty of HPs, decent-ish tank, acceptable DPS considering the range, etc.
Solo or very small gang PvP, it's... nasty.
You'll probably want a HAML fit instead of HML, it's almost a must to fit 2 or even 3 BCUs, and preferably a DC too... and you'll want at least a scram, and preferably a web and MWD too, which leaves you with barely 3 slots for actual tank... so, 2 LSE and one invul, since active-tanking it would be kinda' sub-par... and anyway, you'll be having nightmares about the fiting requirements, since you'll almost certainly need at least a fiting mod in that case.
Basically, there's plenty of better BCs to get into PvP with (even the "new Ferox" is better, to some degree).
That why you don't see many PvP fits.

I agree, though I'd drop the scram and the web, just fit a MWD and go for medium/long range damage dealing, it's what the Drake can do better than many other ships. If your gang requires you to fit a scram and/or web, you're way better off in any other ship :|
You can do some decent damage, have a nice hitpoint buffer with decent resistances and be moderately quick and agile, but tackling... leave that to your gangmates.

To be honest PVP and the drake don't mix well.
Huge passive tank w/ t2 large extenders... that's about it.
Can't make it fast. Can't proper tackle in one. Fairly useless for pvp when compared to all other tier 2 BC out there.

I echo what the other posters said, but you can go for some utility when in gangs/fleets
2 x Ballistic Controls in low
1 x Target Painter in mid
Either a Salvager or Shield Transporter in your spare top slot.

As I fly drake in pvp also, I can tell: you have mwd OR scrambl. Maximum you can put there is web+mwd/scrambl, according to how many tacklers you got=) anyway it's not so bad=)

In all fairness, you see a few drakes in PVP doing a good job because very few people fit them right. See the drake thread for fitting. HAM drakes are a tight fit, but a decently skilled pilot will pull a surprising performance out of them. While the Drake is probably average overall, nobody expects for a drake to pack a web, scram, MWD and several hundred DPS. HAM drakes can, and they will catch people with their pants down.
Even expecting it, you'll have a decent passive tank and can pretty easily get up to 50k EHP. Treat it sort of like a Brutix, but with a better tank and better range.

Throw away PvP:
H: 7x Heavy Launchers, Small neut
M: 10mn MWD, sensor booster (target speed), disruptor, web, 2x EWAR mods of choise
L: BCU, DC, 400 plate (800 with good fitting skills), SAR
Cheap, Effective and welcome in most small-mid sized PvP gangs.

PVP setup:
7 heavy
10mw mwd, distruptor, 2 invul (better t2), 2 lse
damag control, 2 bcu, pds
no riggs
5 light ecm drones

Go look in the HAM Drake thread for starters. It can solo/small gang just fine with setups in there.
