It would be nice to organize items in the same way the corporate hangar can have separate tabs for separate hangars. - - - Welcome to EVE Online, choose your difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, or Minmatar. |

Yeah, it's been mentioned a number of times before, and the response has always been 'there are containers for inventory management'.
Completely with you though.

One problem about containers is that you often lose items inside them, as you cannot search for items inside containers. Another problem is that you can't easily remote sell or contract stuff that are inside containers.

Exactly, which has been the main argument against that thinking. Given the functionality put in to the new overview settings with regards to tabs, it would be nice to see the same kind of thing for the inventory - not even necessarily separate tabs as separate inventories, just filters (including meta-level, which would be a massive time-saver for mission runners who tend to only sell the expensive stuff, and refine the rest).

There are so many reasons why containers are inconvenient and this addition makes perfect sense.
Containers always default to locking items if you delete your cache folder, forcing you to go through every single container you have and set the default to unlocked.
You have to purchase containers. Just to organize your own stuff.
You have to wait 2 weeks to delete containers.
Please implement simple tabs for organization of personal assets. Containers are clearly intended for organizing SHARED inventory, not personal.

Bump.
Glad to be getting friendly feedback on this. :D Seems like an easy addition if they already have the functionality for corp hangars. - - - Welcome to EVE Online, choose your difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, or Minmatar. |
